Helping New Immigrants

New immigrants are provided the highest level of support by Arya Samaj Markham so they could adapt to living in Canada while being able to practice the teachings of the Vedic Hindu religion. Here, new immigrants get a community with whom they could share their knowledge and develop a multicultural identity wherein they learn to take pride in their Canadian identity while retaining their heritage.

New immigrants at Arya Samaj Markham have access to several opportunities and programs, which include:

  • Celebration of festivals such as Diwali and Holi with the community.
  • Anniversary and birthday celebrations.
  • Organizing Havans with loved ones.
