Mission / Vision

To provide a platform for the community to fulfil their social and cultural needs by advancing teachings of the Vedic Hindu Religion and the religious tenants, doctrines, observances and culture associated with that faith.
  • To establish a Community Centre for members to participate in religious service and practice meditation and Yoga.
  • To operate a community centre to be used for workshops, programmes, athletics, drama, art, music, handicrafts, and recreation for the benefit of the general public.
  • To relieve loneliness and isolation of the aged or to improve their mobility by establishing, operating and maintaining a senior citizen centre to provide recreation, education, cultural activities and other programmes for older adults and promoting volunteerism among seniors and other generations. Supporting the social participation and inclusion of seniors.
  • To provide information, guidance and career counselling to youth. To teach ethnic language to young children.
  • To promote Unity in Diversity and promote pride in our Canadian identity. To celebrate Canada Day and Multiculturalism Day in addition to festivals like Diwali and Holi.
  • To assist new immigrants in settling well in Canada. To provide necessities of life to victims of disasters.
